My new 2022 Winter Collection will be available soon at White Lotus Gallery for an Open House event on Saturday, December 10, 2022. Located in downtown Eugene, the gallery will also be showing new works by jewelry artist Suzanne Linquist and silk scarves by Mihara Shibori. The event begins at 11 a.m.
After several years of looking the same, this website has transitioned to a new look. My reason for making this change is that our habits in searching and the tools we use to find things on the Web have moved away from our desktops to smartphones. So in the spirit of “keeping up with the times,” I am moving forward. Goodbye “old look”. Thank you for your years of service!
Announcing a new group show at White Lotus Gallery in Eugene, Oregon, in which I am one of fourteen featured artists. The show starts on June 18 and runs through July 31, 2021. My new collection of jewelry originals offered in conjunction with this show is highlighted in my latest catalog, Summer 2021: clsjewelry ~ Christine L. Sundt Fine Jewelry Designs, viewable in its entirety at Blurb.com. If you would like to have a free PDF version of this catalog, please contact me.
After a long year of lockdowns, isolation, altered realities, personal disappointments, and uncertainties, summer of 2021 promises a glimmer of fresh starts, bright colors, new perspectives, and hope for a secure and enduring post-pandemic future. I trust this announcement finds you and yours safe and healthy and enjoying summer.
Finally, I offer this thought: Art soothes the spirit and nourishes the soul. If there was ever a time when we have needed soothing and nourishing, this is it.
The year 2020 has been full of challenges and surprises for all of us. So too for clsjewelry, which now has a presence at Etsy.com within the SundtStudios storefront. This site features new clsjewelry creations and the ever-popular Re-Wear Shawl and Scarf Pins, made primarily with recycled aluminum, now available for online sales.
I invite you to visit this shop and explore. You will find a variety of colorful, playful, exquisite, and elegant items. Think about your new screen-time events and opportunities to present yourself in front of others. Make a statement – say something – with one of my unique designs: earrings, neckpieces, pendants. Be bold! Don’t miss your change for a new adventure.

Max Nixon inspired me to become a metalsmith and a jewelry artist. That was back in 1992 when he was artist-in-residence at the University of Oregon’s Craft Center. Today, eighteen years after his death, we are finally paying homage to him as a teacher, colleague, and friend, in the exhibit “Max Nixon Legacy Metalwork” at White Lotus Gallery, 767 Willamette Street, in Eugene, Oregon. The show opens tomorrow, Saturday, October 27, 2018.
At the time of his death, Max’s “legacy metalwork” — pieces he held on to representing many years of creativity in a variety of materials and techniques, and those he made for his beloved wife Hattie Mae — are on display and being offered for purchase. The exhibit runs until November 27, 2018. See the illustrated catalog at Blurb.com. Print copies are available at the gallery.
Thank you, Max Nixon, for your inspiration, power of persuasion, and boundless patience!
